- Signed the Testament on 17.08.2002 and submitted on 27.09.2002 for donating the body to the Perundurai Medical College & Research Center, Perundurai(TK), Erode(Dt) -638052 for the academic benefits of the students, researchers and doctors of the institution.
- In 2004, insisting on the nationalization and unification of Indian rivers and execution of the Sethu Samuthiram Plan, cycled to New Delhi from Chennimalai, Erode District (2850 Kms in 20 days, average 142 Kms). He was flagged off on the 9th of this month by Congress MP Mr.S.K.Karvendan He discussed this matter with our former President, His Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam through the phone for 15 minutes at Rastrapathi Bhavan in New Delhi. This was broadcast on All Indian Radio on 15.09.2004.
- Met Mr.T.S. KRISHNAMURTHY, the then Chief Election Commissioner at the New Delhi chief election commission office building on 14th September 2004 and gave petition on modern electoral reforms.
- Met the then Tamilnadu Governor, His Excellency
Mr. Sardar Surjit Singh Barnala at Rajbhavan, Chennai on 16.12.2006 and gave applications in connection with 16 Textile Modern Reforms. - Met our former President Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and got his blessings on 01.10.2008 at Raja Muthiah Hall during the “Conference on the Project of Merging of Indian Rivers”.
- My “Chennimalai Social Service Home” was opened on 28.05.2012 to follow my mission successfully.
- On 09.12.2013 Met the Present Governor of Tamil Nadu, His Excellency Mr. Konijeti Rossaiah and submitted an application regarding the purchase of wetlands against the wanton sale and preserving them.
- The Erode district collector Dr.V.K. Shanmugam, I.A.S., visited Chokkalingam’s Chennimalai social service home on 17.01.2014 to encourage his social service.
- So far I have rescued more than 1100 destitute people and admitted them to various rehabilitation homes in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
- Further on the order of Erode district collector, Shri.Dr.S.PRABHAKARAN.I.A.S, I have been issued an identity card valid for three years from 17.11.2015 to 31.12.2018 by the district social welfare officer A.DEVIKUMARI. This is really an encouragement for me to carry on my social service.
- Social Activist Mr. A.Chokkalingam was honored by the District Collector Dr. S Prabhakar. I.A.S., with the certificate (Shown here ) on 15.05.2017 during the Independence Day celebration at the Nehru Indoor Stadium, Erode.His service through his social service home for the welfare of the deserted old people by admitting them at the various old age homes throughout Tamil Nadu was very much appreciated by one and all at the function.
Few of my services are
- Creating an awareness on eye, blood and body organs donations.
- Assisting the differently abled persons to obtain their identity cards and financial aids.
- Admitting the helpless and the aged people in the aged care homes.
- Helping the cleft-lipped to get free surgery.
- Rescuing the child laborers and providing them the education.
- Securing roof for the blind, deaf and dumb children for living and learning.
- Sheltering the helpless children in homes for education and employment.
- Helping the H.I.V affected (AIDS) Patients.
- Protecting the mentally retarded and the sub-normal.
- Collecting new and used dresses and distributing them to various aged care homes and children homes.
- My overall intention is always to help the poor and needy.
- Helping to dispose of forsaken corpses.
